SM prices were assessed lower in Asia on Monday. The price fall was on the back of weaker upstream benzene values.
FOB Korea SM prices were assessed at the USD 635/mt levels, while CFR China SM prices were assessed at the USD 675/mt levels, both down USD 5/mt from last Friday’s assessed levels.
Upstream benzene prices on Monday were assessed lower at the USD 425/mt FOB Korea levels, a fall of USD 5/mt from last Friday.
