HP552R

HP552R

  • Polypropylene HP552R is a high-clarity homopolymer polypropylene (PP homopolymer) produced in transparent granular form by Jam Polypropylene, Marun Petrochemical, Shazand Petrochemical, and Navid Zar Chimi (Iran). This grade is primarily designed for film extrusion and BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene) applications that demand superior optical properties, processability, and mechanical strength.

HP552R (also marketed as ZH552R) combines high stiffness, good tensile strength, and excellent gloss, delivering balanced performance across extrusion and thermoforming operations. With its optimized melt flow index, it ensures stable film orientation, uniform thickness, and high production efficiency in high-speed extrusion lines.

This grade’s clarity, gloss, and consistent extrusion performance make it ideal for transparent films, laminations, and food-contact packaging, while maintaining excellent dimensional stability and mechanical integrity.

    Grade: HP552R / ZH552R
    Chemical Formula: PP 552R
    Physical Form: Transparent Granules
Suppliers: Jam Polypropylene, Marun Petrochemical, Shazand Petrochemical, Navid Zar Chimi

Araz Petro supplies export-quality HP552R from Iran’s top polypropylene producers, offering consistent quality, competitive pricing, and reliable logistics for customers in the film extrusion, packaging, and industrial manufacturing sectors.

  • Jampilen HP552R is a polypropylene homopolymer (PP homopolymer) developed for the production of staple fibers, continuous filament (CF), and bulk continuous filament (BCF) yarns. Manufactured by Jam Polypropylene Company (Iran) and other leading producers, this grade combines high conductivity, excellent spinnability, and good mechanical properties, making it ideal for fiber extrusion at medium to high spinning speeds.

As a strong and rigid homopolymer polypropylene, HP552R provides high tensile strength, dimensional stability, and superior stiffness compared to copolymer grades. These properties make it particularly suitable for applications that require shape retention and strength, such as carpet yarns, industrial textiles, and woven fabrics.

However, due to its higher crystallinity, this homopolymer tends to be more brittle than polypropylene copolymers—especially at low temperatures (below 0°C)—where impact resistance is reduced. Despite this, HP552R maintains excellent processing stability and uniform fiber formation, even under demanding extrusion conditions.
